Bayberry Picking Pass

Picking sessions for the 2026–27 season aren't open yet. Bayberries are expected from mid to late December. Please leave your email and we'll let you know as soon as sessions open.

Bayberries have no skin. In the few days when they're perfectly ripe they drop at a touch, and they don't survive long trips. The best bite can only be had under the tree – which is why we open the orchard for picking.

Three main types ripen one after another: Heitan, deep purple-black, rich and sweet-tart – the backbone of our orchard; Xiaotian, small and lightly sweet; and Dongkui, large and fleshy. Depending on when you come, you'll taste something different.

Tickets

  • Entry $19.90 per person: come in with a picking basket and taste a few in the orchard; bayberries you take home are paid for by weight.
  • All-you-can-eat: adults $60, children (4–13) $30: pick and eat as many ripe bayberries as you like in the orchard.
  • 3 and under are free.

Can we eat as many bayberries as we like?

It depends on your ticket:

All-you-can-eat (adults $60, children 4–13 $30): pick and eat as many ripe bayberries as you like in the orchard.

No need to print. You can show the appointment confirmation email or PDF file on your phone, and our staff will verify your information.
