朴德農場|返璞歸真的原生態樂園

The pristine Pude Farm is nestled in the Yarra Valley, Melbourne, Australia, surrounded by mountains and fresh air, preserving its purest natural beauty. In the early morning, wild rabbits scamper across the grass, kangaroos gracefully appear, colorful parrots flit through the treetops, and occasionally, foxes can be seen quietly moving in the distance. Little bees buzz busily among the flowers, and cicadas chirp in succession; the fish pond's water is clear, and water lilies bloom serenely. Bayberries ripen on the branches, emitting a faint fruity aroma. Blue, white, and red hydrangeas form a continuous expanse, like a painting, draped along the green edge of the hillside. In the evening, plump wombats also quietly emerge. The entire farm is immersed in nature, beauty, tranquility, and peace, like an undisturbed paradise in the Yarra Valley.

The name Pude Farm comes from "Pude" (朴德), meaning returning to simplicity and conforming to nature. The farm does not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers in its cultivation management. All crops are fertilized with organic manure, and through reducing waste and converting waste into fertilizer, it achieves a self-sustaining cycle for the land and ecosystem.

The farm's main crop is bayberry, with seven major varieties planted, including Xiao Dongkui and Heitan. They ripen successively from  December to January of the following year  and are open for picking, embodying the deep nostalgic feelings for bayberries among overseas Chinese from the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai regions who reside in Australia. The orchard also cultivates various organic fruits such as blackberries, figs, green-fleshed kiwifruit, and red currants, and supplies fresh organic vegetables.

In addition, the farm also raises free-range chickens, guinea fowl, and silkies in the fig orchard, providing fresh eggs, honey, and fish; the park is also planted with lavender, hydrangeas, snowberries, ginger lilies, and other flowers and plants, offering different scenery throughout the four seasons.

We sincerely welcome friends from all walks of life to Pude Farm to embrace nature, slow down, play, relax, and experience the purity and beauty of the land and life.
