December 19th was the grand opening day for Pude Organic Bayberry Farm. To thank our first batch of customers, we fully refunded all orders and invited everyone to the farm for a complimentary tasting.

As it was our first opening, we weren't fully prepared or experienced. Yet, customers, without knowing much about our bayberries, unhesitatingly placed orders, simply out of their love for bayberries.

I remember four lovely seniors. An aunt, after receiving my notification call, diligently forwarded our warm tips to her friends. They happily picked bayberries at the farm, took photos, and took some home to make bayberry wine. Seeing their photos and videos, I could truly feel their joy in enjoying life.

I also recall a young family of three. Their one-year-old baby even ate over 20 bayberries – isn't that amazing! They brought their own ice packs, soaking the picked bayberries in ice water for an even better taste! They were truly "prepared"! Haha, I'll try that next time too.

A mother and son from Yuyao. The mother said her son followed us daily on Xiaohongshu, was a big fan, and was eagerly awaiting the opening. However, he only managed to get one ticket, which was a pity. Before picking, they received our free notification and were overjoyed, quickly sharing the good news with his mother and bringing her along.

There was also a gentleman who came alone. He quickly emerged with two baskets, saying, "A cola, please," making the child selling drinks happy by making his first sale. He was also the first group member to give a review in the chat group, and I'm very grateful to him.

Have you ever seen a customer who cherishes the fruit more than the owner? A young, beautiful mother picked up fallen fruit from the ground and put it in her basket, sadly telling me, "Your picking method is such a waste. Ripe fruit falls off with just a touch, it's such a pity." She truly has a beautiful heart. Her husband chatted with George for a long time and then gave us an extra 500 Australian dollars when paying for the bayberries, saying it was a donation to support our continued efforts in the Australian bayberry business. This was a tremendous encouragement for us!

There were also four young people, two couples, and so many other stories I can't finish telling. I was only checking tickets and weighing fruit. I believe there are more interesting stories from picking in the garden. Next time, I'll ask our farm manager to share them with us.
